M. Lorie Duffield Rolison, 95 died Sunday, June 8, 2008 at Hospice Savannah.
She was born in Collins, Georgia, daughter of the late Remer and Sudie Holland Duffield. Mrs. Rolison lived in Savannah since 1937 and received a certificate of completion from Candler Hospital for the Nurses Aide Program working for the Hospital 15 years. She was a member of Windsor Forest Baptist Church and an avid gardner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Dan Rolison, brother, Leon Duffield and sisters, Ella Smith and Marie Edwards.

Surviving are her daughter, Doris Rolison Francis of Savannah; son and daughter-in-law, Kermit and Sharron Rolison of Stockbridge, GA; grandsons, Thomas D. Rolison of Denver, Co; Ronald Rolison and his wife, Christy of Royston, GA; sisters, Thelma Rollison, Rubye Page, Corrine Gay all of Savannah; Eva Duffield of Waycross, GA; six great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Monday, June 9, 2008 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Burial: Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
